The CellCube 6L Oxygenator is designed to provide gas conditioned media to a single 10, 25, 50, or 100 stack CellCube Culture Module. It functions by constantly maintaining a thin film of culture media flowing down the sides of the vessel for efficient gas exchange. Media conditioned in this way results in none of the foaming found in sparged systems, eliminating the need for pluronic or other anti-foaming agents. The oxygenator is sterilizable and incorporates a 100 mm headplate assembly, including an autoclavable gel-filled pH probe, inlet tube, stainless steel level sensor probe, two media return tubes, vent tube, and one polarographic oxygen probe. The oxygen probe (12 x 420 mm) is contained within the oxygenator and measures dissolved oxygen levels going to the CellCube Module.
