Description
FreezeMe Two is a serum-free cryoprotective medium based on an organic preservation medium containing 10% DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide). Its special formulation ensures high viability of cells and makes it particularly suitable for applications in stem cell research, e.g., embryonic and adult stem cells, induced pluripotent cells (IPS), as well as mesenchymal and hematopoietic stem cells.
DMSO serves as a cryoprotective agent that reduces the freezing point of the medium. This allows a more sustainable cooling rate, reducing the potential damage done by ice crystal formation.
