Insectagro Si9r支持s19昆虫细胞在培养基中增殖，同样也可用于SF21细胞。在27℃下(室温)，Sf9细胞在 未加湿、无C0,的恒温箱内培养，表现出单层和悬浮培养的性质。Sf的倍增时间极短(10-22小时)，用生物反应器很容易扩大培养规模。此配方含L-谷氨酰胺。

Corning Insectagro Sf9 is formulated to support the proagation of Sf9 insect cells in culture, and can also be used for SF21 cells. Sf9 cells are cultured in non-humidified, non-CO2 incubators at 27ºC (room temperature) and display both monolayer and suspension culture qualities. With their fast doubling times of 10-22 hours, Sf9 cells are easily scaled up to large cultures using bioreators. This formulation contains L-glutamine.
