Description | TCR Vβ1 is a variant of the TCR Vβ chain that is expressed by a subset of αβ+ T cells. Aberrant expression of TCR Vβ chains has been associated with infection and cancer. TCR Vβ1 is reported to be preferably used by autoreactive T cells in a model of autoimmune thyroiditis and diabetes. Skewing of TCR Vβ repertoire to Vβ1 and Vβ9 has also been reported in patients with multiple sclerosis, reactive arthritis, and Kawasaki disease. |
Formulation | Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) BSA (origin USA). |
Recommended Usage | Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 5 microL per million cells or 5 microL per 100 microL of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. |
